How can you get a reward of up to €150?
- €50 for opening an account at a branch or online and saving at least €100 over two months after opening the account (€50 each month), provided the savings remain in the account until the end of the second month following the month the account was opened.
- €100 for an account opened online, when you make card payments via Apple Pay / Google Pay / Garmin Pay / Xiaomi Pay / Swatch Pay totaling at least €100 by the end of the second month.
- Your reward of up to €150 will be sent to your savings account no later than the end of the third month following the month the account was opened.

For teenagers aged 15 (before turning 16) who open an account without a legal guardian/parent present, it is necessary for the legal guardian/parent to provide consent for the processing of personal data. Download the consent form, fill it out, have it signed by the legal guardian/parent, and bring it to any branch. Consent for personal data processing is required in order to evaluate eligibility and deliver the payment bracelet.

If you are between 15 and 20, your VUB Student’s Account is automatically free. You only need to bring or send to som_student@vub.sk a proof of study once to keep it free also after you turn 20. You can then enjoy all the benefits of a Student’s Account up to the age of 30. You just need to open an account before you turn 27. For more information on the extension of account benefits in the Public Service. In official documents and contracts, this account is listed under the name “VÚB Klasik Account with Student Benefits.”
