Teach children healthy financial habits
Activate their savings in the Junior Banking app and guide them to responsibility in managing money from a young age. With the new savings feature, children can set up to 5 savings goals, add a name, target amount and picture to them. They can track their progress together with their parents.
Easy pocket money requests
A child can request a one-time pocket money through the app, which will be sent to them via a payment order.
- Parents – you'll get an allowance request notification in your parent app with the amount and what the money is meant for. Once you approve this notification, you'll get a pre-populated payment order in the VÚB Mobil Banking app. Simply confirm the order and the money will arrive in your child's account.
- Someone else – the app creates a payment link that your child can share (e.g. via WhatsApp, Viber, email…). If the recipient's mobile banking supports the Payme service, the link will direct them to a pre-filled payment order, and they'll simply make a transfer from their account to the child's account. If not, clicking on the link will display all the payment details needed to make the transfer to your child's account.
Secure ATM withdrawals
With the VÚB Junior Banking app, your child doesn't need to use their plastic card for ATM withdrawals. They can simply choose ATM withdrawal and amount in the app. The app generates a code, which the child enters into the VÚB ATM to withdraw cash.
You can easily set withdrawal limits via your own VÚB Mobil Banking.
Rewards for completed chores
Does your child need a little extra incentive?
Assign them chores via the app to earn their allowance from you. Keep track of task status and send rewards automatically.
