- Simply hold the card by payment terminal – no PIN necessary for payments up to €50.
Mobile payments
- Pay with your mobile or watch quickly and conveniently. You can easily register your card for Apple Pay or Google Pay directly via the VÚB Mobile Banking app (video instructions).
ATM withdrawals and deposits
Free ATM withdrawals
- All withdrawals from Intesa San Paolo ATMs are free with our Visa Inspire, Visa Inspire Gold, and Youth Card. As well as VÚB ATMs in Slovakia, Intesa San Paolo ATMs are also available in: Albania, Egypt, Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Hungary, Romania, Russia, Slovenia, Serbia, Italy, and Ukraine.
Mobile ATM withdrawals
- You can also withdraw cash from VÚB ATMs without a card via your mobile phone by using the VÚB Mobile Banking app. Select the amount in the app, and enter the one-time code into the ATM.
ATM deposits
- With this debit card, you can deposit cash into your VÚB current account at a deposit-enabled VÚB ATM.

- Apply now for a card without plastic and help protect the environment. With a plastic-free card, you can pay using mobile wallets and withdraw cash from ATMs that support contactless withdrawals.
Recycling of expired payment cards
- You can return your expired card at any VÚB branch, where we will ensure its proper recycling. You can also drop expired cards from other banks or plastic loyalty cards into the card collection box.

How to Become a “Good Angel”
Regular Donations
- You can set up regular donations via a standing order from your account or a recurring payment from your payment card.
- Configure it on the following page: Become a Good Angel – DOBRÝ ANJEL
- Enable purchase rounding on your debit card in favor of the DOBRÝ ANJEL account. Each debit card payment linked to your VÚB account will be rounded up to the nearest whole euro; the difference between the purchase amount and the rounded amount will be automatically transferred to the DOBRÝ ANJEL account. You can enable rounding in Internet Banking under Cards → DOBRÝ ANJEL.
One-Off Donation
- At VÚB ATMs, you can make a one-off donation using a VÚB, a.s. card. You choose the amount directly at the ATM.

Has your Maestro card been replaced with a Mastercard Dobrý Anjel – what do you need to know about this change?
New Mastercard Dobrý Anjel cards have been delivered to clients who previously held the Maestro Dobrý Anjel card or the Maestro Bratislavská mestská karta. As the bank has discontinued issuing Maestro cards, they have been replaced with the new Mastercard Dobrý Anjel card type.
Yes. The PIN from your previous card remains unchanged on your new Mastercard Dobrý Anjel.

No. The limits remain set at the same level as on your original card.
Yes. Once your original card expires, recurring payments will no longer be processed from it (see the information on validity changes above). You will need to register your new card for recurring payments again.
