Verification via the new VÚB Banking app

Instructions on how to confirm a payment via VÚB Banking can be found in this video.

Enter the card details

After entering the card details (card number, expiry date and CVC/CVV code), a screen will appear with a detailed procedure on how to confirm the card payment.

2. Open the push notification

Open the push notification we sent to the device with your banking mobile app.

3. Review the payment details

The details of the card payment you are confirming will be displayed. After reviewing them, tap “Continue”.

4. Confirm with PIN or biometrics

Confirm the payment either with your Mobile PIN (a 6–8 digit code used to log in to the new app) or with biometric authentication – fingerprint or Face ID

TIP: If you previously used the VÚB Mobil Banking mobile app to confirm online card payments, the Mobile PIN for that app was 4 digits. When using the new VÚB Banking mobile app, the Mobile PIN is 6 to 8 digits. Please make sure you are using the correct Mobile PIN to log in to the mobile app.  

Can’t remember your login details or have you blocked the VÚB Banking app?

You can reactivate the app and then use it again to confirm online payments via 3D Secure. 

Return to the merchant’s website

After successfully verifying your payment, return to the merchant's site. You will see a green icon confirming that the verification was successful.
