Above-limit transactions
Above-limit transactions in a currency other than the account currency
Transactions in a currency other than the currency of your account are processed by VÚB bank at exchange rates according to the valid exchange rate table, unless you have an foreign exchange (FX) contract concluded with the bank.
The exchange rate table is published on the website www.vub.sk, or you can view it directly via the electronic banking services – Internet Banking, Business Banking or MultiCash. If there is no valid exchange rate table available, please contact a branch employee with your request for information on the relevant current exchange rate.
If the value of your transaction is above the limit set by the bank, the transaction will be processed using an individual exchange rate. Each Payment Order is evaluated separately for the purpose of assessing an above-limit transaction. At your request, a branch employee will also inform you about the exchange rate.
