Any VÚB account, Student Account, or Junior Account opened paperlessly in our branch or online via VÚB Internet banking or VÚB Mobile Banking. It comes with a plastic-free card and supports one of the socially beneficial projects on the client's behalf.

The VÚB Account is a modern account with useful products and services that clients use most in their day-to-day management of their finances. A unique feature of a VÚB Account is its flexibility - you can exchange products and services on your account for others according to your current needs. You can make these changes at any time and free of charge, through a broad network of nearly 200 branches or via the Contact Service.

If you are already a VUB client and use our e-banking services, open your account quickly and easily via Internet Banking or Mobile Banking in the New Product section. 

Thanks to the benefit - Reward for loyalty, you can lower your account management fee by half or get your account management fully free of charge, if you are actively using the account and using other products of the bank. For example, you will receive a 50 percent discount on account management if at least 500 euros arrives on your account per month (VÚB Account) or 1,000 euros (Magnifica VÚB Account), if you log in to Internet banking or mobile banking once a month, and if you have two more selected products of VÚB. A loyalty reward is credited to the VÚB Account / Magnifica VÚB Account of clients within 15 calendar days of the month following the month in which the Terms of the Loyalty reward were met.

Illustrative Example

For a VÚB Loan with a Reward, i.e. a 2% interest rate discount, and without the Green Loan benefit in the amount of €10,000.00, with an interest rate of 7.90% p.a. and a repayment period of 96 months, the monthly annuity instalment is €140.86. The APR is 8.60%, and the number of instalments is 96. The fee for providing the loan is 1% of the loan amount, in this case €100. The total amount that the client must pay is €13,622.56 without insurance.

For the calculation of the APR, the drawing date is assumed to be 18 April 2024, the date of the first instalment is 3 May 2024, and the amount of the annuity instalments is the same throughout the maturity period. The granting of a loan under the offered conditions is subject to approval by the bank, and depends on the assessment of the applicant's ability to repay the loan. The result of the APR calculation is expressed with an accuracy to two decimal places.

This benefit applies to clients who open the Greener Planet Account online via Internet or Mobile Banking until 31 July 2024. These clients will receive a special promo code with a 50% annual Travel Insurance discount from Generali Poisťovňa, a. s.

You can claim the Travel Insurance discount for unlimited trips for 12 months only when setting up the insurance online via VÚB Bank's website.

The territorial coverage of the insurance is Europe and the world. You can insure one person per policy. The offer will include the Basic insurance package. The insurance period is valid for one year from the date of the contract. The insurance period can be extended upon request.
