Adrián Ševčík a new Member of the VÚB Management Board

Bratislava, 8 April 2010 – The Supervisory Board elected yesterday Adrián Ševčík new Member of Management Board of VUB bank. Adrián Ševčík has been managing the network of its retail branches until now. As a Management Board member, he will be responsible for the retail banking division.

Adrián Ševčík is the manager who was brought up for the top management position by VÚB bank itself. In addition to being responsible for the branch network and relationships with clients at his new position, he will be responsible also for the area of deposit and loan products for natural persons and small entrepreneurs, for alternative distribution channels, payment cards, or private banking. „I know exactly how the business network works as well as what the clients expect of us. My priority is to promote innovations in products and services and to take steps, which will contribute to the client satisfaction. To add the attribute the most favorite bank to the image of the most innovative bank,“ says Adrián Ševčík.

Adrián Ševčík has begun to work for VÚB in 2003 as the regional retail manager in Trenčín region. Since January 2007 he has been responsible for all bank branches in Slovakia as the Head of the Retail Branch Management department. Before coming to VÚB bank, he worked as a Branch Manager in Tatrabanka and in the companies Medmilk Trade and Chirana Prema.
