Insurance against payment card misuse
VUB payment cardholders* are insured against card loss/theft with Cardif Insurance Company without having to pay the premium (covered by VUB).
- The insurance policy covers payment card misuse and unauthorized transactions effected within 24 hours before loss/theft of the card had been reported.
Insurance benefit
The insurance benefit is provided in the amount of total unauthorized transactions (reduced by EUR 100). Depending on the card and under the agreed conditions, the insurance benefit may be limited to a maximum benefit for these products:
