VÚB Asset Management, správ. spol., a. s.
The company collects money from the public based on a public notice in order to invest the money into assets stipulated by law. The company uses the collected funds to establish and manage mutual funds and the company also carries out receivership of mutual funds.
VÚB Asset Management (VÚB AM) is a 100% subsidiary of VÚB. The company obtained the license for its activities and management of mutual funds based on Decree No. 002/2000/SS of Slovak Republic Ministry of Finance on 3rd April 2000. The company was established on 17th April 2000 upon registration in the Commercial Register with equity amounting to EUR 1,66 mil.
The asset management company’s line of business is to collect money from the public based on a public notice in order to invest the money into assets stipulated by law. The company uses the collected funds to establish and manage mutual funds and the company also carries out receivership of mutual funds. At present, the company manages ten open-end mutual funds - VUB AM MONEY MARKET EURO FUND, VUB AM BALANCED GROWTH FUND, VUB AM CONVERGENCE BOND FUND, VUB AM CONSERVATIVE PORTFOLIO, VUB AM DYNAMIC PORTFOLIO, VUB AM REAL ESTATE PORTFOLIO.
From the very beginning of its activity VÚB Asset Management has ranked among the forefront Slovak asset management companies and as at 31st December 2007 assets under management exceeded EUR 962 mil. The Law No. 594/2003 Coll. on Collective Investments regulates the company’s activity and the management of funds.
The company has been a member of the Association of Asset Management Companies since May 2000.
Všeobecná úverová banka, a.s. Bratislava is a depositary of the asset management company and mutual funds.
